The lightweight Aluminum Pop Rivets are primarily used for joining soft materials like plastic with thin aluminum.
Pop rivets are tubular and composed of hats and mandrels. The hand and mandrel may be of the same material or maybe a combination of two materials. When the rivet installs, the length of the mandrel snapped off. It is ideal and used for all general-purpose applications.
All aluminum rivets are often used in applications where only aluminum components are used. The Haggarty Group supplies three kinds of Aluminum pop rivets.
- Aluminum Rivet with steel stem, Dome Head.
- Aluminum Rivet with steel stem, Large Flange.
- Aluminum Rivet with steel stem, Countersunk Head.
All of the rivets are available with a range of diameters—a highly versatile rivet with a long and reliable track record. The aluminum or steel body with a positively retained steel stem gives a whole excellent fill and a large blind side bearing area ensures a robust vibration-resistant joint. The placed fastener is immune to the ingress of non-pressurized water and air.
Advantages of Rivets:
- Rivets are reliable.
- They are cost-effective.
- They are durable.
- Aluminum Pop Rivets are lighter than screws.
