Description

SikaBond instant nails are a high-quality adhesive that is water-based and multipurpose. It is used in initial strong grab and high street bonds in construction. It’s advantageous since it cures fast and can be repositioned up to 60 minutes after application. That way, it’s easy to use and flexible. Also, it enables the contractor to use fewer mechanical fasteners needed in the installation of walls and floors.

Usage

SikaBond® INSTANT NAILS FAST can be used on most substrates due to its excellent adhesion. These include: – Fixing polystyrene wall panels – Replacing loose tiles on walls – Skirting boards , architraves and trims to walls – Bonding panels to wall studs – Bonding particleboard , plywood , fibre cement and strip flooring to joists

Application

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION All surfaces must be clean , sound , dry and free of oil , grease and surface contamination. Thoroughly remove all loose particles and dust. Any loose flaking material must be removed and light sanding is recommended. SikaBond® INSTANT NAILS FAST will adhere to damp (not wet) substrates but drying times may increase. Substrates should be above 5ºC. Do not bond 2 non-porous substrates ensure that one surface is porous. CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT Uncured material can be cleaned with water. Hardened material can only be removed by mechanical means.

Shipping & Delivery

General Shipping Under 9 Meters

Delivery is based on the distance from our shop in West Ipswich for all items that are stocked on site. However, if you are ordering items that are custom made e.g. roof sheets, flashings the delivery price will default to the flat rate cost. A crane truck will be provided for packs of roof sheet and reo mesh that cant be unloaded by hand.

Your order may come in two different deliveries, however our friendly staff will contact you and advise you of this.

Once your order is processed our staff will contact you via email or text in regards to a shipping ETA.

Shipping Over 9m & Up to 12m

For orders over 9m you must provide your own means of unloading the goods at the set place of delivery. Costs will still incur if you fail to provide adequate equipment to unload your goods.
